During summer months we often talk about the summer slide keeping kids actively engaged in learning, even during the summer so they’re ready to head back to school in the fall. We never talk about adults, though.

Several studies have shown that lifelong learning helps keep us mentally sharp, improve our confidence,  and sharpen our interpersonal, communication and job skills.

So, how long has it been since you were actively engaged in learning something new?

Do you want to sharpen your technical skills? Gain a new job skill?

The 2019 Summer Cohorts of Hello Code are now accepting applications!

Hello Code is a program for adults interested in exploring career options in the tech industry. It provides a low-barrier entry to experimenting with computer programming by building a website over the course of five weeks. Students attend five in-person classes on Sunday morning from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, and complete online assignments during the week.

Our summer sessions runs from June 9th to July 7th and July 14th to August 11th. Applications will open on May 9th and will close on May 30th at noon for the June cohort and June 20th at noon for the July cohort. All applicants will be notified via email no later than June 5th and 26th respectively.

Hello Code is completely free, and the application process is extremely competitive. We typically get twice the number of applicants as we have spots available, so please make sure you spend some time telling us why you want to learn programming and how you can benefit from it when you apply.
