If there is one thing Omaha excels at it’s supporting its non-profits! Nothing shows this more than the upcoming 7th annual Omaha Gives! extravaganza. Don’t know what this event is all about? Let me break it down for you:

Omaha Gives! is an all online giving celebration that allows you to shower your favorite non-profits with some much needed assistance. This year’s event will be held on Wednesday May 22nd,  for just 24 hours. This charitable challenge is only made possible through you – the INCREDIBLE, DYNAMIC, AMAZING, KIND people of Omaha! Please visit our Omaha Gives! page by clicking here.

Here’s the best part of all – there are so many ways you can give! The donations start off at just $10; a $10 gift and you can tell everyone you are a renowned philanthropist. Last year over 75% of all donations were under $100, so whatever you can give is so very appreciated. If you are able to give more than the $10 then that’s great, too! Every little bit truly helps Do Space in our mission to make technology accessible to everyone in our community.

Another way to give on May 22nd is to create a ‘Cheer Page!’. Omaha Gives! cheer pages are there to help spread the word about Do Space to your friends and family on social media. All you need to do is click here and go to ‘Cheer Page!’ and follow the prompts to create a shareable page that will direct others to give to Do Space, too. Any and all social media shout-outs help your donations go even further. If you can, remember to use the hashtags #DoSpaceOmaha, #OmahaGives, and #OmahaKeepsGiving to really get your message out there. And for every Cheer Page that is created for Do Space we get entered into a drawing for a $1,000 award! This means your donation could spin off into one worth thousands!

Finally, one last way you can spread the charitable love on Omaha Gives! is to give us a good review or shout-out online. Tell others what you appreciate about Do Space and how we’ve helped the community. You can do this on your own social media pages using the above hashtags or you can go to our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts and shout it out there.

We are so very grateful to be a part of the Omaha community and to have over 71,000 members! Remember, Do Space membership, programs, mentoring, and tech help are all free because we are part of a generous community that made free technology and learning for all a priority.

So, schedule your donation TODAY at Omaha Gives.org/DoSpace OR open your agendas and circle May 22nd at least seven times because you won’t want to be the only one who has missed this community-driven event!
