Anyone can be a maker at any age. Our Junior Makers program at Do Space helps encourage youth makers explore several different ways of making. From learning about circuits to create light up cards or sewn hearts to creating ziplines and strong and sturdy paper towers to help learn about design and engineering. One can never be too young to start learning to make.

And we have some makers who are great examples of just that! On Wednesday, May 6th, Junior Makers with be welcoming Yash and Rohan Fichadia, two local youth makers who have created some spectacular things. These two brothers have featured their projects at several of Do Space’s maker events, presenting on 3D printed prosthetic arms to modifying small motorized cars for children with disabilities.

For our next Junior Makers, Yash and Rohan will be talking about using their 3D-printer to build PPE face shields for local hospitals.

So join us for Junior Makers to learn more about how these two young men started making and how they are using their skills to help with real world problems.
