If you have not heard of Omaha Gives! then I hope that you will take a moment to check out their website www.omahagives.org and consider participating in this unique day. It’s the 5th year of a full 24 hours dedicated to giving—and it’s your chance to make a real difference, right here in our own community. Last year, almost 19,000 people gave nearly $9 million for 789 nonprofits.

On Wednesday, May 24th, technology and philanthropy unite for a 24-hour online giving event. Omaha Gives! is organized by the Omaha Community Foundation to grow philanthropy in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties. The goal is to inspire the community to come together for 24 hours to give as much as possible to support the work of public 501c3 nonprofits in the metro area.

On this special day, we hope that you will consider making a donation to Do Space to support our technology education programs. Here are all the ways that you can contribute to Do Space for Omaha Gives!:

  • DONATE – Support your favorite local nonprofits on May 24th with an online donation at OmahaGives.org.
  • SCHEDULE A GIFT –  For your convenience, you can schedule gifts until May 23rd. If you cannot participate on May 24th then consider planning a donation in advance.
  • SHARE YOUR STORY –  There is no better way to support Do Space than to share the impact that Do Space has had on you and your family. Like, comment, and share your Do Space story on social media using the #OmahaGives and #DoSpaceOmaha hashtags.

We are so appreciative of your support and we look forward to watching as the entire community benefits from this year’s Omaha Gives! event.
