Photo Scanner Added to Tech Checkout

Do you have photos or slides you need to scan? Do Space now has an Epson V600 Scanner available for checkout at the Tech Help Desk.
The Epson V600 is a flatbed color scanner capable of scanning:
- A4 or US letter size paper ( 8.5 x 11.7 inches)
- 35 mm film strip: 12 frames at a time
- 35 mm slides: up to 4 slides at a time
- 6 cm medium format: up to 22 cm
Upon checkout, you will be given a tub that contains the scanner’s manual, cables, and negative/slide adapters. You can connect the scanner by USB to a computer, and the software is compatible with both OSX and Windows.
Currently, the software for the scanner is downloaded on four computers: MAC 13 and 15; PC 21 and 23. In the future, the software will be added to other computers in our lab.
To checkout any technology at Do Space, you will need to have a signed Technology Borrower’s Agreement on file. If it’s your first time checking out equipment, you will need to present a photo ID and sign the agreement.
