Beanstack is an activity challenge software and mobile app that is used by libraries around the world! Starting on Monday, December 7th, Do Space members can use this software to track attendance at events, find fun STEAM activities for all ages, and enter to win prizes- all for free! Once you have made your personalized account on our Beanstack website, you will be able to register for our virtual challenges where they will find prompts to attend programs, complete activities, and learn new things. Every item completed will give you a ticket that can be entered into quarterly drawings. Challenges will change every quarter and Beanstack will be the new host for our Summer Program coming in 2021.
You will create an account and register for activity challenges by going to dospace.beanstack.org. Parents/Guardians can sign their children up for accounts at the same time they create their account and all accounts can be operated at the same time. After creating an account you will be prompted to register for a challenge based on their age. There are three challenges: Make.Learn.Explore for ages 6 -10, Full STEAM Ahead for ages 11-15, and Beat The Winter Doldrums for Adults. Each challenge will run approximately three months in winter, spring, and fall. In the summer we will have separate challenges. Stay tuned for details about what the summer program will entail!
The Beanstack mobile app is free to download and the app and the website can be used interchangeably- everything logged on the mobile app should be reflected on your page on the website. When downloading the app you will click on “find a site” and type in Do Space. From there you will be able to create and/or log into your account.
