This year Do Space hosted our first Girls Who Code club, joining over 40,000 clubs across the nation! In August, we asked for applicants between the ages of 11 and 14, and then selected 22 members. The girls were divided into two groups, each lead by a fantastic volunteer instructor. (Alex and Juliet, we love you!)

The girls committed to 40 curriculum hours that took place over the course of twelve Sunday afternoons between September 2016 and March 2017.

At the year-end celebration on April 2nd, each group presented their final projects to their families. You can see one of their websites here.

Look for information about future Girls Who Code clubs at Do Space later this summer!
