Have you wanted to learn to code but didn't know how to start? Are you interested in game, app, or website development? Mystery Code Society and Do Space have partnered to offer a Mobile Application Development course. This is a free 10-week course for middle and high school students of marginalized gender.
Do Space has partnered with Mystery Code Society to bring coding and game development classes to students in grades 6-12 of marginalized gender. This includes students who were not assigned female at birth and those who identify as femme, gender fluid, or gender non-conforming.
Applications are now open for our 10-week Mobile Application Development course where students will achieve the basic understanding of an Android app.
Participants do NOT need extensive prior coding experience OR a computer of their own to take this class. We expect knowledge of code fundamentals (data types, variables, conditionals, loops, and functions).
This 10-week course meets in-person at Do Space on Sundays from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, from February 5 – April 23, 2023. There will be no class on March 12 or April 9.
This application deadline is Sunday, January 29, 2023.
