Do you know what Giving Tuesday is? Giving Tuesday is an annual celebration of the work that nonprofits do across the nation and gives you the opportunity to support that work! Why a Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving: We have Black Friday, Cyber Monday, why not give back on Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is an all online giving celebration and this year’s event will be held on December 1st for just 24 hours. Even if you only have five dollars to give, each dollar allows us to offer freely available classes online, have our public computers available (six feet apart from each other, of course!), and even offer up a space that we’ve turned into our Virtual Interview Lab! Remember that memberships at Do Space are FREE and super easy to sign up for.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been able to remain OPEN and hard at work to provide the Omaha community with the quality content you’ve come to expect from Do Space: we’ve created over 300 freely available webinars, which you can find on our calendar and if you can’t make one of the classes you can always check it out later on our YouTube Channel! You can also come into the building if you need to use a computer or the 3D lab; and you can use the interview lab to impress the socks off of your new boss! Right now we just require reservations so that we can help to keep the community safe.

If you would like to support Do Space during this time, here are a few easy and awesome ways that you can do so!

  • You can give a monetary donation starting now through December 1st on our Share Omaha page or can you donate through our website. You are able to donate however much you choose and whatever you can give is so very appreciated. Every little bit allows Do Space to fulfill our mission of making technology accessible to everyone in the Omaha community, even during these difficult times.
  • You can also spread the charitable love on Giving Tuesday by simply following us on our social media platforms! Following us on places like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn helps you stay connected with us and find out what we are up to. Every new follow on social media supports Do Space.

We are so grateful to be a part of the Omaha community during these challenging times and to have over 82,000 members!
