Are you ready for Summer? So are we! And to get the season started, Do Space is hosting a summer learning celebration for the whole family. You and your family are invited to the Do Space Summer Kick-Off on Thursday, May 31st. We will begin the celebration at 4:30PM and wrap up the festivities at 6:30PM.

Jumpstart your summer with a bang by being one of the first people to pick up Do Space summer learning tools, either the Do Space Passport or the Summer Do List. Using these interactive tools that encourage learning and discovery, you can stay sharp this summer and prevent youth from experiencing the “summer slide.” We will also have giveaways for attendees including exclusive buttons to wear on your passport lanyard and one-of-a-kind drawstring backpacks. But that is not all, included in the kick-off activities, we are excited to launch our new virtual reality equipment including HTC Vive and Oculus Go VR headsets. From riding a roller coaster to interacting with dinosaurs, you can be one of the first people at Do Space to experience virtual reality in our Active Learning Lab.

The event is being held throughout Do Space, starting in the front Boardroom, where kids will have their pictures taken for their passports.  Then, guests will be free to move between the 3D Lab, the Active Learning Lab, and the Meeting Rooms to explore the various technology-driven programs we are running this summer.  We will have cosplay prop demos in the 3D Lab, summer program previews in the Meeting Rooms, and a Nintendo Labo activity in the Active Learning Lab. Try out the 3Doodler or sumo wrestle Edison robots, all while earning stamps for your passport to collect neat prizes!

Our summer programming isn’t only for our youngest members, we are also offering the Do List for teens and adults.  Ask any Do Space employee for your free notebook and start your To-Do list with Do Space. Check off any three goals off your Do List and you will be entered for a chance to win a prize drawing for an Amazon Echo Dot!

There is so much to explore and learn at Do Space!  Come and see for yourself and have a blast with us on Thursday, May 31st. We look forward to welcoming you and your family and friends at the Summer Kick-Off.
