Virtual Reality Vacations?
November 23rd, 2015 | Rachel Tepper, Operations Manager
Photography evolved into motion pictures, black and white turned into full color, then the stunning size of IMAX immersed us into new landscapes. Now multiple camera configurations working with software are able to capture footage simultaneously in 360 degrees. With the right virtual reality goggles, you can go from your living room to underwater caves in an instant. Wherever you look – up, down, left, or right – the cameras have captured everything.
So what if you could go where only a few have ever been; next to an erupting volcano, deep into the rainforest, skydiving from the edge of the atmosphere or diving to the bottom of the ocean? In the near future, “booking a trip” may mea a virtual reality vacation to the far corners of the globe.
