Every so often you may find yourself with a problem or two in your STL file. Just a couple of non-manifold edges and your 3D print is going to fail. But instead of heading back to your design software, try running your file through Microsoft’s 3D Tools site. Just sign in with a Microsoft account, upload your STL file, click repair, and download your repaired file. Do Space staff have used this on a number of submitted STL files and the problems have been solved every time. Granted we can’t guarantee it’ll solve every problem, but so far our success rate has been amazing.
