Here at Do Space we have installed a program named DeepFreeze on our computers. This means that when you log out, the computer reboots, and resets itself to the way it was when you started. It helps us maintain the computers, and it protects your information from the next member to use that computer. But, this also allows you to do something on our computers that you may not have previously considered: install the software you need that we haven’t installed already.

Here’s the deal: As long as the software in question is free and/or you’re licensed to use it, and the installation doesn’t require a reboot of the computer, just bring it in or download it on site, install it, and use it while you’re here. Once you’re done, just log out and the program will automatically disappear along with everything else.
