Stephanie Huettner, Assistant General Curator and Curator of Birds at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

About Stephanie:
Stephanie Huettner has worked at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for 28 years, and is the Assistant General Curator and Curator of Birds. For past few decades, she has been managing the implementation of sustainable efforts for the Zoo and has been closely involved in drafting Sustainability masterplans and the most recent Climate Action Plan.

What Stephanie Will Cover at the Sustainability Summit:
Conservation and sustainability are key elements to the mission and goals of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Stephanie Huettner (Assistant General Curator, Curator of Birds, and Curator of Invertebrates) will share a brief history of the zoo’s sustainability journey and an update on the progress of the goals and initiatives of the Zoo.
