Do Space is thrilled to announce that the Todd and Mary Heistand Family Foundation has awarded our Littles Lab program a generous grant in support of all 2020 sessions, helping us to keep classes free and open to all. On behalf of our youngest members, thank you!

Since opening in November 2015, the Do Space Littles Lab program has sparked an interest in technology in thousands of Omaha kiddos ages 3-5. We feature a different theme every month with a new unit each week. Kiddos explore basic construction techniques, simple robotics, letter and math applications, and more. It’s a great opportunity to foster early learning skills.

Littles Lab features apps like ScratchJr, which helps young kids learn the basics of coding through creative problem-solving, interactive stories, and games.

For the month of June, our theme is Let’s Construct and Engineer. Kids will learn all about simple machines, architects and skyscrapers, and what an engineer is by using relevant apps and stories. They will also be encouraged to build and engineer at home.

Until we can safely meet together again, Littles Lab has gone digital! Join me online every Tuesday and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15am for a LIVE webinar. Miss a class? Find past classes and other great content on our Do Space YouTube channel.
