A typical American student can lose almost a month’s worth of education during summer vacation.  Do Space is working hard to shrink that gap with this summer’s Tech Safari Programming! We have something for everybody this summer whether your child is interested in robots, electronics, coding, or making.  Help prevent your child’s “summer slide” and learn some new skills with Do Space!

Research shows that children engaging in hands-on activities in the summer can help prevent loss of information learned during their previous school year.  We are offering a ton of hands-on programs this summer with the intention of keeping children engaged and thinking critically. Children can practice their problem-solving skills in Afternoon of Code or learn the science behind bubbles in Draw Up with 3Doodlers.  After attending a program, your child will receive a stamp for their Do Space Passport!

The Passport program is designed to keep kids motivated to learn this summer by incentivizing any techy activities they work on at Do Space. Come to hang out at Robot Rumble and battle some ‘bots or travel back in time with Old School Tech. Not only does your child get introduced to new concepts but they also get to acquire stamps to collect prizes!  We have prizes for every two stamps collected and a variety of ways to earn them. Combating the summer slide while also providing fun and exciting classes can be done!  We provide everything needed to help your child succeed in our programs, they just need to bring their can-do attitudes!

But adults and teens should not feel left out, because we also have The Do List available for our members who want to track their summer achievements and create journals about their goals. For more information on the Do List, CLICK HERE.
