AARP Nebraska Sponsors Senior Makers Club
November 20th, 2024 | Rachel Drietz, Operations Manager
We’re excited to share some wonderful news: AARP Nebraska has awarded Do Space a generous grant to support our Senior Makers Club program for next year! This funding ensures that our classes will continue to be free and accessible to all. A huge thank you from everyone at Do Space, especially the seniors who benefit from these creative and engaging sessions!
In today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world, staying connected and engaged is essential for all ages. AARP Nebraska recognizes the value of providing seniors with opportunities to explore technology and innovation, and their support helps us keep the Senior Makers Club thriving as a hub for creativity and community.
The Senior Makers Club is a hands-on program tailored for adults aged 55 and up. Each session allows participants to dive into a new project using cutting-edge technology available at Do Space. With no prior experience required, this program makes it easy for seniors to explore, learn, and create. Highlights include:
- Innovative Projects: A different project each month introduces participants to exciting tools and techniques.
- Inclusive Learning Environment: Classes are designed to be accessible and enjoyable, regardless of prior tech knowledge.
- Regular Schedule: The club meets on the last Thursday of every month, making it easy to plan ahead.
