Do Space is thrilled to announce that AARP Nebraska has awarded our Cyber Seniors program a generous grant to support the 2023-24 sessions, helping us keep classes free and open to all. On behalf of the seniors of Do Space, thank you!

In today’s digital age, staying connected and informed is more important than ever for people of all ages. AARP Nebraska, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults, has taken a significant step in supporting seniors in our community by sponsoring the Cyber Seniors Program at Do Space. This initiative is committed to bridging the digital divide, empowering older adults to embrace technology, and fostering a sense of belonging in the digital world.

Cyber Seniors is a program at Do Space specifically tailored to older adults who may be less familiar with digital technology. This free drop-in program offers resources to help seniors become proficient with their computers, tablets, smartphones, and the Internet. Key program components include:

  • One-on-one assistance from knowledgeable volunteers who can address specific questions and concerns, ensuring a personalized learning experience.
  • Access to technology such as computers, tablets, and other devices allowing seniors to practice their skills in a supportive environment.
  • A sense of community making it a great way for seniors to socialize and connect with other community members.
