Donate Your Old Phone to a Good Cause
January 5th, 2017 | Jessica Johnson, Director of Community Learning
Do Space is thrilled to partner with The Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA), a direct service agency for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Omaha area.
Beginning this Sunday, January 8 and going until Saturday, January 14, Do Space will be accepting donations on behalf of the Women’s Center for Advancement of used cell phones, chargers, and related accessories from people that have recently upgraded their devices. The make, model, and condition of your cell phone does not matter. All donations are accepted – even broken phones can be dropped off.
Phones are sorted, inspected, and cleared by WCA volunteers and interns. Useable phones are given to clients for emergency use – a lifeline that helps them stay safe.
Broken phones are recycled and the proceeds help fund the critical services and programs of the WCA – helping victims and their children stay safe and grow strong.
Why clutter up a drawer with your old device when you can use it to positively change a life?!
