TechKit Out
Members can now check out a tech kit for at-home use to learn and explore technology on their own. Filled with tech toys from robots to mini programmable computers, these kits are interactive and can be used by youths, teens, and adults. Designed to be explored independently, these kits include simple how-to instructions that make learning new technology fun and simple.
- Equipment is available for check out on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Some equipment requires a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to function properly. These are not provided for loan. Click the “check availability” button for details.
- Holds may be placed on these items via the Check Availability buttons below.
- Up to two items may be checked out for 7 days with a 7-day renewal available unless another member has placed a hold.
- Items on hold may be picked up at the Tech Help Desk.
- Members must have a signed Technology Borrow Agreement on file.
- Members must be 18 or older to check items out of the building. Staff will verify your ID and current address at the time of checkout. Please be prepared to show your photo ID.
- Items returned damaged, missing parts, or significantly late may result in a replacement charge.
Taking this equipment home isn’t necessary. If you want to use it in the building, you’re more than welcome to do so. We also have plenty of In-building Technology ready for your use.

Dell Chromebook 3100
Do Space has a collection of Chromebooks available for members to check out and use at home. Checkouts of these laptops are for 30 days and can be renewed for an additional 30 days as long as there’s no one on the waitlist. These Chromebooks require a WiFi connection to operate and Do Space does not offer WiFi connections outside of the building.
