2022 Do Space Summer Passport

Code, Make, Learn, & Explore this summer with the Do Space Summer Passport. Our Summer Passport Program provides a free resource that engages Omaha youth in tech-related educational activities.

Use the Beanstack app or website as your digital passport to track summer activity completion. When completing a passport activity, mark it as complete on Beanstack to earn points. The more points you get, the more prizes you can receive. Sign up for a free individual or family account at DoSpace.Beanstack.org!

PARTICIPATE
Join us for drop-in classes, complete take & make kits at home, and explore fun tech-related activities with Tech Kits and TechKit Out Kits.
Activities are geared toward kids ages 6-12. Younger explorers may participate with adult help. Older participants may be interested in using the activities as a starting point and scaling the project up.

WIN PRIZES
Log your activities in Beanstack to earn point Badges.
Win prizes when you reach each of the three-point goals!
Prizes must be picked up by August 30, 2022.

Join us at Do Space for the Summer Passport Kickoff, and enjoy the Made New Traveling Makerspace!

June 6: Zoetrope take & make kit pick-up starts
June 7, 9, 14, 16: Drop in between 1:00pm and 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to channel your inner filmmaker with stop motion animation and character design!

DEMOLITION DERBY
June 20 – July 1
June 20: Catapult take & make kit pick-up starts
June 21, 23, 28, 30: Drop in between 1:00pm and 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays  to engineer sturdy structures, then see if they can stand up to the crushing power of siege machines!

INVISIBLE ACTION
July 5 – 15
July 5: Sound visualizer take & make kit pick-up starts
July 5, 7 ,12, 14: Drop in between 1:00pm and 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to learn about forces we feel but cannot see, like magnets, gravity, and waves.

3D PARTY
July 18 – 29
July 18: Conductive dough take & make kit pick-up starts
July 19, 21, 26, 28: Drop in between 1:00pm and 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to explore new dimensions with 3D printing and modeling activities!

Take & makes available while supplies last; limit of 2 kits per family per project.
