Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology
As a member of the Omaha Girls Who Code coalition of local Girls Who Code, Do Space® seeks to help young women realize and achieve their goals and dreams through developing computing skills and team building.
The first half of sessions at Do Space will be held over the course of twelve Sundays from 3-5pm starting September 25th, 2016 and concluding on Sunday, December 18th. The second half of Do Space sessions will be held over twelve more Sundays from 3-5pm starting January 8th, 2017 and are slated to conclude on March 26th, 2017.
For this academic year, the Do Space club will be accepting applicants in 6th through 8th grade. Interested participants who have applied or are considering applying are invited to attend an informational session scheduled for August 21st at 3pm. Applications for the Do Space Girls Who Code Club close August 28th, 2016. Additional information will be provided to applicants selected to continue no later than September 4th.
